So, what then is AŞK ? Any answers ?

AŞK is a temporary error condition in the human brain, based on some chemical changes.

"Aşk" is the uncontrolable, wild and strong desire to discover and capture every feature and every aspect of another person. By definition, this wild desire has to be reciprocal; if not, aşk decays into some kind of sickness.

Aşk may rarely ascend into "sevgi" and attain eternal life. More generally, it ends when nothing more is left to be discovered.

Good news is that one can have many "aşk"s in one lifetime....{#emotions_dlg.alcoholics}

Note: Though rarely used nowadays, Turkish language has a name for what may be a one side wild desire. It is called "kara sevda" and is considered to be somewhat pathological.

Considering life with a single beloved may occassionally get boring, Master Tao recommends as many "aşk"s as you can have, at any given time....

It is like working on a scientific project; you can work on more than one project at a time...{#emotions_dlg.alcoholics}
