I just finished watching Ezel and it was fantastic. WOW. What a great storyline and amazing actors as well. It had all the components of a good show except i hated the ending. I like shows that have drama, are not predictable, romantic but not too romantic (lol), not too much crime (in Ezel, the police drama was understandable), GOOD actors, story moves quicker, and preferably a happy ending{#emotions_dlg.shy}. Even though Ezel had lots of action, it still made sense. It didn´t completely revolve around police things. Another show I watched a few years back is Gümüş and I also loved it. Probably not as much as Ezel because everything moves quicker in Ezel. Thank you {#emotions_dlg.bigsmile}

There´s no point in watching if the story finishes in a sad way. So frustrated hahah

The scriptwriters are very talented. I´m sure they will turn it into something interested for Turkish viewers.

I used to watch O.C. when they aired it here. Let´s wait and see.

The new trend with Turkish series that we see adaptation of popular US series.

Last year "intikam" (from revenge) was a hit and still continues this year.

Also "Umutsuz ev kadınları" (from desperate housewives) still continues too.

Maybe they are. But they cant always write good scripts every week for a 90 minute tv series for a 40 episode season. This is completely madness. I hope one day they will shoot a 30 minute tv series in Turkey. I want to be hopeful.

wow i´m pleased to hear that! that makes me even more excited to watch it. As long as it still contains the Turkish drama touch to it, i don´t mind them making adaptions

I dont understand what is so special about Turkish dramas. What is the difference? When I was a teenager there were Brazillian dramas on Turkish tv channels and people were watching them.And all of a sudden a drama craziness started in Turkey. I think the start of this craziness was Asmalı Konak.

there´s a number different reasons. First off, the life style. The posh aspect of some Turkish dramas is attractive, yet they still contain cultural value. We enjoy seeing a different culture! But at the same time, for many Balkan and Middle Eastern countries, viewers feel a sense of connection to the lifestyle because of the values shown. I would say that in most shows there is a balance between showing strict people and the overly open minded people. And so, as you can see, Turkish drama basically contains a little of everything. Not to mention the brilliant script writing and directing! Kudos to the Turkish Drama industry
