The scriptwriters are very talented. I´m sure they will turn it into something interested for Turkish viewers.

I used to watch O.C. when they aired it here. Let´s wait and see.

The new trend with Turkish series that we see adaptation of popular US series.

Last year "intikam" (from revenge) was a hit and still continues this year.

Also "Umutsuz ev kadınları" (from desperate housewives) still continues too.

Maybe they are. But they cant always write good scripts every week for a 90 minute tv series for a 40 episode season. This is completely madness. I hope one day they will shoot a 30 minute tv series in Turkey. I want to be hopeful.

wow i´m pleased to hear that! that makes me even more excited to watch it. As long as it still contains the Turkish drama touch to it, i don´t mind them making adaptions

I dont understand what is so special about Turkish dramas. What is the difference? When I was a teenager there were Brazillian dramas on Turkish tv channels and people were watching them. And all of a sudden a drama craziness started in Turkey. I think the start of this craziness was Asmalı Konak.

there´s a number different reasons. First off, the life style. The posh aspect of some Turkish dramas is attractive, yet they still contain cultural value. We enjoy seeing a different culture! But at the same time, for many Balkan and Middle Eastern countries, viewers feel a sense of connection to the lifestyle because of the values shown. I would say that in most shows there is a balance between showing strict people and the overly open minded people. And so, as you can see, Turkish drama basically contains a little of everything. Not to mention the brilliant script writing and directing! Kudos to the Turkish Drama industry
