Patatesli Yumusacik Recipe - need help to finish it

2 orta boy patates, haslanmis ve soyulmus

2 medium potatoes, boiled and peeled

2 yumurta

2 eggs

150 gram tereyag, oda sicakliginda

150g butter , in the room heat ( room temperature )

2 ½ su bardagi un

2 1/2 cups flour

1 tatli kasigi kabartma tozu

1 sugarspoon baking powder

1 tatli kasigi tuz

1 sugar spoon salt

Uzeri icin bir yumurta sarisi

egg yellow for on top

Uzeri icin susam ya da corek otu

sesane seeds fir  on top


  

Ic malzeme:

1 su bardagi lor peynir

1 cup ???? cheese

YA DA

or

1 su bardagi beyaz peynir, ufalanmis

1 cup white cheese ?????

YA DA

or

1 su bardagi siyah zeytin, ince dilimlenmis

1 cup black olives ?????


  

Sogumus olan haslanmis patatesleri rendeleyin. Butun hamur malzemelerini derin bir kapta karistirin. Kulak memesi yumusakliginda esnek ve yumusak bir hamur yogurun. Daha sonra, cevizden biraz daha irice hamur parcalari alin ve elinizle acarak ortasina arzu ettiginiz ic malzemeden 1 tatli kasigi koyun. Hamurun kenarlarindan ortaya dogru toplayin ve torba agzi gibi sikica kapatip yapistirarak yuvarlak pogacalar yapin. Ters cevirip duzgun taraflari uste gelecek sekilde yaglanmis firin tepsisine aralikli olarak dizin. Cirpilmis yumurta sarisini firca ile butun pogacalarin uzerine surun. Son olarak, susam ya da corek otu serpin. Onceden isitilmis 200C (400F) firinda yaklasik 20-25 dakika veya uzerleri kizarana dek pisirin. Sicak servis yapin.

I hope my translation makes sense. I hate translating recipes. They are difficult for me to translate.

 

Grate the boiled potatoes which are cooled down. Mix all the dough ingredients in a deep pot. Knead a dough which is soft and flexible as an earlobe (hahaha) Then take dough pieces which are bigger than walnut, then open them by your hand and put in them 1 sugar spoon of inner ingredient which you desire. Then put them together from sides to center and make round pastaries closing them like a sack mouth. Then put them upside down flat parts of them looking up in an oiled oven tray in rows with spaces. Put whipped yellow part of the eggs onto pastaries by a brush. Then scatter sesame or çörek otu (?). Cook them in an owen which is already heated 200C for 20-25 minutes until tops of them turn red. Serve them hot.

You are right they are very difficult. The only way to learn the correct expressions is to look for them in other recipes. Dictionaries give you little support.

I agree - cooking is whole new lanugage - even in english we say pinch of this or handful or this or whip this till it looks fluffy

I get lost but I am trying

maybe you can make up some cooking terms to help us all  Abla
