I will never understand why people like to call themselves a servant of an entity, and a "worthless" one on top of that! .. *sigh* .. have people no self-esteem? No pride?

Erem,

Erem & Patience,

I believe we are creative beings with will, and this is a phrase to exhault an emotion *^_^* Some people have passion and some have reason. One can not live without the other: For reason, ruling alone, is a force confining; and passion, unattended, is a flame that burns to its own destruction.
Therefore let your soul exalt your reason to the height of passion

just thought id share that with you since you helped patience and erem!

Dunno, I guess I'll never understand nor have the need to drop down to my knees, call myself a servant of an invisible man who lives in the sky, and think myself worthless. A little humility's good, but too much of anything's bad.

understand and need... maybe its the concept of God that you have learned. An invsisble man in the sky has issues and maybe supernatural powers, but a source of energy to create is something different; i believe...hmm

I AM ACTUALLY MAKING A THESIS ON TODAYS MISCONCEPTIONS LEADING TO DISINTEREST IN LEARNING OF ANY SUBJECTS...including natural science in Islam.

I believe man created the idea of a Creator. They didn't have a purpose for living, so they just made a bunch of crap up to find filfillment in their lives. I mean just look at the Moses' story for heaven's sake. He went on top of a mountain for 40 days, and when "nobody else was around" he received 10 commandments from God. I mean shit. Anyone with a drop of intelligence could see this old man spent 40 days on top of a mountain carving crap into those stones. *rolls his eyes*

Alot is faith in you fellow beings to be honest, and not elaborate like: "God said i get $6 from everyone..." when in actuality, noone should do bad or good in the name of anyone but themselves. common sense. 8 infinite
