one of the most wonderful things of dance in my opion is

But that is not an Efes dance,,lol

' my Baba Anne loves to watch my husband dance the Efes dance! This is my favourite dance aswell! Of course as it is a mans dance I only dance it infront of the family!!! '

Think I might have been dancing the Efes dance on holiday (a few efes later ha ha)!

Its a dance performed by the Efes men who were very strong men! They basically never smiled and spent the majority of their time in the mountains. They were fearless and won many battles!

This dance symbolises this.

dances sort of body languages of the falks ,so its really more then dance

thats once difference i think some of dance just for fun while another one dancing for tell others somethings with thier moves

İs it,some how close to the russian dance?which only men performe it and contain strong moves depends of their fittness ??
İf anyone would have a link that show the Efes dance,that would be lovely

Check it out,it is really different than i had in mind

But it is really more than a dance,it is like sending msg's using their bodies,to show their strength

I too on several times have tried to open this video and all it says is" The compressed ( zipped ) folder is invalid or corrupted" this is a shame because i would have liked to see this dance.

I have both real player and media player, but it a microsoft error message that comes up so I wonder if it is anything to do with my firewall. Never mind..............

Zeybek is another name for this dance! I found a video but it doesn't do it justice!
Its much better watching it live or on tv, when all the men start dancing along!
