This is horrible and my heart goes out to those affected and their families. Unfortunately, it will have an absolutely DEVASTATING affect on tourism in Turkey next year.

Have a wonderful time in Fethiye! Anything could happen anywhere at anytime today in terms of terrorism- it doesn't deter me either from living. Fethiye was my favorite town of the ten I traveled through this summer in Turkey.
The Blue Cruise was the highlight of my trip there.
Have you been to Fethiye before?

Me too, but people are put off by these things, and the terrorists will win because of it. Hey, nothing would put me off - you are talking to the girl who flew to the States 2 weeks after 9/11, the Maldives 3 days after the tsunami and Cuba straight after the hurricane !
Hmmm - in fact, NEVER travel anywhere where I plan to go !
