You don't have to ask him, you can get the answer here: NO.
Why don't you read a bit about Turkey, find out about culture and stuff? Read the forums here, they would give an answer to a lot of your questions? Turkey is much more than one Turkish man you know

thanks derya for the translation i just needed the translation. For Elisa: you don't have to insult anyone here, it is rude, how do you know that I haven't read abot Turkey? How could you possibly know about my education and knowledge about Turkey and its tradition? I JUST needed the translation, that's what I stated in my post. I didn't ask for the answer. I know that they can't have more than one woman, I am just teasing my boyfriend, that's all

I don't think Elisa was being rude, she was genuinely trying to be helpful. As she said, there are many in-depth discussions and posts about Turkish culture on this forum that give a great insight into the country and people, it is just a case of looking for them. Many of the subjects raised lately have answers on this forum.

I didn't mean and never want to insult anyone here. I didn't know the context of your question, so then there are a lot of possible interpretations..

This is very educational. As a social studies teacher, I have never heard of polyamory. In my familial systems unit I teach about "polygamy; polyandry; monogamy..." But never "polyamory". I just researched this on wikipedia- and indeed understand this unique lifestyle. I will include this term in my explanation.
