I asked because I thought that saying "severim" instead of "seviyorum" means "liking", not "loving"..

İ think sevmek means both loving and liking, only the sentence can tell which meaning you meant
And i thought, meaning of the verb doesn't change with the tense we put it in ,
İ mean sevmek ..mean to love,or to like
Seviyorum..means loving or liking
Sevdim... loved or liked
Severim ..should mean both too,to love,or to like
Doğru mu ?

A (Turkish) friend of mine told me you can never say "seni severim" for "I love you". You can say "patlıcanı severim" for example, to express that you really like eggplant. But using the aorist tense with "sevmek" to express that you love somebody is not possible he said..
I'm confused.. :-S

lol,you have a thing with eggplant Elisa
Btw,thanks for the Kızrıma 'right pronounciation ? '
İ made it and it is wonderful
Thx to sophi too,i used to do it,but i never added sugar, when i did,its much different ,yummyyyy
Ok,now,i guess i kind of understand
You cann't say to someone seni sevirim because its not a fact, and its something changeable too,its flowing
For something like that you should use Şimdiki zaman
Seviyorum i mean.
My understanding is that using the Geniş zaman,or aorist tense for facts
Loving someone is not a fact, its a changeable feeling.
İ don't know if i am right or not,please correct me if i wasn't.

Elisa- bilirsin, seni severim, sayarım. Aenigmax'yı da severim. İngilizce'yi de severim, Flemenkçe'yi de. Belçika'yı da severim, Fransa'yı da. Biliyorsun, ben bir tek Roxanne'i seviyorum.

It's kızartma actually, the verb 'kızartmak' means 'to fry'.
I haven't made the recipe yet, waiting for a good occasion, maybe I'll prepare it biri seviyorum için |
