I was wondering how do you say in turkish those expressions:
" that made us think that you were wrong "
" let's make him come now "
" let me tell you that this is false"
" why don't you make them come here?"
I know the causative takes the suffix "dir / dur" but not all... which are the IRREGULAR verbs in causative??
Şimdiden teşekkürler!
Dilara.

" that made us think that you were wrong "
Bu bize "senin yanıldığını" düşÃ¼ndürdü.
" let's make him come now "
şimdi (onu) getirelim or şimdi gelsin
" let me tell you that this is false"
bunun yanlış olduğunu (sana) söyleyeyim
" why don't you make them come here?"
Niye (onları ) (buraya ) getirmiyorsun?
Those words between ( and ) are optional and they are not said in a clear context.
There are two verbs seems irregular. Actually
Getirmek ( < Geldirmek = to make someting come)
Götürmek ( < Gittirmek = to make something go)
They are sound changes. Those 2 verbs have changed a bit.
We could still use geldirmek or gittirmek but we prefer getirmek and götürmek.

Thank you very much for your reply ! I was askıng about the ırregular causatıves because I read somewhere (I can't remember where exactly) the followıng :
" Irregular causatives :
When the verb ENDS in vowel / R or L , instead of taking "dir / tir " it takes = T
Example = anlamak = to understand
Causative = anlaTmak = to make understand / explain "
is it right? does it apply for all the mentioned cases?
Thanks again!

Yes, right.
There was thread about this started by you:

That should explain your question above.
Ciao,
Aslan
How do you say "ciao" in Spanish?

Thank you for the reminder Aslan!
Actually, I know I had previously asked about the "Doubled causative" but not about the Irregular Causatives to be exact! I will take a look once again.
As for your question,
In spanish we say :
Bye (informal) = chao
Goodbye (in very formal situations) = adiós
But the most commonly used (especially between friends)is:
See you = ¡ Nos vemos !.
The famous sentence "hasta la vista" is not used, at least not in my country!
Have you ever tried to learn spanish?
Chao y gracias,
Dilara.

A little Italian. I have a TalkNow CD and some grammar books for Italian. It's a nice language but the verb conjugation is a nightmare. There are a lot of irregular verbs. Like this:
Io vado
Tu vai
Lei/Lui va
Noi andiamo
Voi andate
Loro vanno
But Italians say:
Hi=Ciao
and
Bye=Ciao
Is it the same for Spanish?
In Turkish we have a similar thing to "Nos vemos":
GörüşÃ¼rüz.
In Italian it would be:
ci vediamo

Well Aslan , I suppose verb conjugation seen in italian language must be a nightmare for you! but for me a spanish speaker , it sounds very similar to my mother tongue! sometimes I watch italian tv and I can understand 60% of what they are talking about because you know, they come from the same root. But what I can mostly understand without difficulty is brazilian portuguese!
I was thinking of learning italian....until I focused all of my attention in turkish! (which I do not regret because this language ... believe it or not , I really have fun learning it!)
As for your last question , in spanish:
Hello = Hola
Bye = chao
Good luck with italian , it is a fascinating language with a beautiful accent,
Kolay gelsin!
Dilara.
