Hmm, did I miss something? I thought this is quite clear:

"Poetry and literature

Discussions on Turkish poetry and literature"

Ahh but when my book gets published in Turkish then this thread will be based on Turkish poetry. Ehi lol

Your poem would not be Turkish poetry if it was written in Turkish - sorry . To be Turkish poetry it would need to be written by a Turkish poet with Turkish as the original language. Why not stop this argument and just move to off-topic?

Firstly I have Turkish family so I could always get them to write it the it would be Turkish poetry lol and secondly I did actually put it in off topics but for some reason it ended up here :-S and thirdly I would change it back again but I don't know how lol little help?

Isn't life a little to short to worry exactly where a thread should be? I never understand why so many arguments occur on here over the most trivial subjects. And that is my Friday afternoon, I bloody bored reaction to this thread!

I agree the life is too short. So I suppose that when we want to search and find something about great Turkish poets, we should be able to do it swiftly and easily. I support everybody in writing poems, and I am sure Kai won't be angry if our moderators move this thread somewhere else. It will just facilitate exploring of this forum, and we will still be able to read members' poetry.

Totally agree with you!!! But, I think the petty arguments happen often because of the different cultures that are present. Some are real sticklers for rules and regulations, other cultures are more relaxed and just let things evolve. So, for some this poetry and its correct placement in the forums is VERY important. And others...they will see my response and this initial thread and say 'WHATEVER'!!!!

Well said Libralady.
And no I wouldn't mind if they moved it to 'off topics' at all, but the weird thing is the last two poems I wrote I put into 'off topics' and they have ended up in Turkish poetry and Literature :-S so I think they have been moved already.
