Please post your opinions on the police force in your country (state your country) and how you think the media effects your views (please give an example about a media story that strengthens your view).
I have a presentaion to give to the police about how the media effects the publics views on the police and I thought this would be a great idea for people to give their honest views, so please put your opinion not matter how offensive or defensive it is

Afraid my view is very biased. Sorry can't be objective after seeing the police drag my dad out of his car, beat him, handcuff him and take him to jail for going 15mph over a 25mph speed zone. Let's just say...NOT GOOD!!!
Oh, after 2 days in jail...it was mistaken identity! WHATEVER!

NOT GOOD!! my brother has been pulled 134 because he dosn't look like a boy who would have a license who is just looking for trouble and has been hit by them many times and arrested for not carrying his license, which means he had to take days of work and he also gets blamed for 'nicking' peoples things and again gets arrested and locked up for atleast 24hours
They speak to people like crap here now even the elders.

I am from the U.S. I live 40 miles west of the city of Philadelphia in the suburbs.
Our local police used to be very nice. They knew almost everyone and were always very courteous. Now,there are many new police on the force, they aren't as nice. I don't know if it is because they are new and trying to prove themselves or they are just mean.
In the town over, about 10 miles away, the police there are the most rude and very, very nasty. They have always been that way so in there case it doesn't matter if they get new employees or not. I remember my mother calling to report a suspected drug dealer and drunk driver and they just laughed at her and basically told her to get a life instead of checking out this very credible lead.
Luckily we have not had to have too many dealings with the police. But these are my only experiences. I hope this helps.

welllll...................hehe im from england..Liverpool!!!
and im sure u all no that we english teens have recently been named the worst in europe, for our binge drinkin, drugs, and sex! (hearin this from the media, might?! make some people want to act up to this to make the statement true!) haha wot i think when u say police is....bizzies!! or someone shoutin run!! haha (not gna even mention some o the other terms) and i is a good girl!! i think sometimes they have got it right but other times it just seems stupid. i mean on my road they sit ther behind their cars with one of them speed checkers (what i heard was that they aint allowed to be out of sight wit it!). i think they need to sort some of their priorities out (not just fill up the prisons! they is packed to the brim already!) anyway i have got too many words to type out what i think haha but surely if we have been named the worst....maybe they need to take some advice from other countries! and see what they can change to make it better!

someones else's view:
In my country there are some triditional rules more that goverments.if any people broke any rules such as killing an innocent person, hitting a woman, or protesting our things such as turkish flags, turkeys borders or supporting terrorists, police put into practising violent...it is strongly affected by media, for example some time, there is many event that is associated with terrorist attacks in Turkey and u can see these on TV and news then police behave more aggressi to any kind of protestors...coz we are emotional people and affected all kind of bad things easily..polices are turkish to in my county so they can be affected easily.in these condition that I talked our people even behave like a police on streets
