Yeah, we are doing that with English Class now.. the literature department of this year is working on the different periods of literature and now we are working on Shakespeare and the Canterbury Tales. Very beautiful both i must say.

It would simplify matters as it would make the conjugantions more consistent......
But it is not just pronouns that have become archiac - many powerful expressive terms are unfortunately becoming highly rare in English. Besides, do you not think that the Sonnets were powerful in their day?

Hehe i know  But it's very uncommon here and sounds as if you are saying something as a joke. I noticed in some of your PMs to me, that your Dutch also sounds 'weird' to me. Not as in stupid, but just not as in dutch daily speech.. This is nothing against Belgium tho, as it is more against the way Dutch people treat their speech (badly, that is!)

Very good point. Didn't think of it that way. And about the powerful expressive terms.. isn't that why we all started to love Turkish so much
