Biraz önce "his name" telefonda görüştüm. İyi olduğunu ve seni en kısa sürede arayacağını söyledi. Sanırım beklediğimizden daha kısa süre de sana dönecek.
Sen canını sıkma,rahat ol. Ben sana döneceğinden eminim.

A little while ago i spoke with 'his name' on the phone. He said that he will call you shortly and that he is well. I suppose he will return to you in a short while..Don't get bored, be comfortable. I'm sure he will come back to you.

Hi!
I have a question about the following sentence...
"Sanırım beklediğimizden daha kısa süre de sana dönecek". Translated as... "I suppose he will return to you in a short while"
I cannot find the word "beklediğimizden" in any of the online dictionaries I use.
What does "beklediğimizden" mean? Does it come from beklemek meaning to wait?
I'm trying to get a better understanding as I try to learn the language.

I guess he will return to you sooner than we expect. Don't get down about it, relax.
Beklemek: to wait/expect
beklediğimiz: that we expect
beklediğimizden: than that we expect
daha kısa süre: a shorter time
beklediğimizden daha kısa süre: literally: a shorter time than we expect i.e. sooner than we expect.
