An Iraqi reporter called visiting U.S. President George W. Bush a "dog" in Arabic on Sunday and threw his shoes at him during a news conference in Baghdad. Iraqi security officers and U.S. secret service agents leapt at the man and dragged him struggling and screaming out of the room where Bush was giving a news conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

 you are not even capable to analize things properly. opposite, he will become a hero now {#lang_emotions_satisfied_nod}

after this being published now everywhere. michael moore deserves the bigest ticket then according to your ways of thinking.

i dont know how do you know?

there are thousands of jihadists in the world who enjoy freedom and wealth in the west. they preach for hatred and murder, and unfortunately they are protected by the human right activists. they recruit young and naive boys to become jihadists, they upload lessons to the internet of how to make bombs and the successful millitary operations where they murder and blow up crowds. now if we want to jail them we would need thousands of guantanamos.

 Yes, our president has had to take special "shoe dodging classes" since the beginning of the war in Iraq.  He is proficient at dodging size 7-11.  {#lang_emotions_lol_fast}  If the guy had been a size 12, perhaps he would have actually hit him!  {#lang_emotions_lol_fast}

He is still in training to dodge women´s shoes as well.  It seems a bit of a challenge to get him to duck in time so as not to get hit with the pointy tip or the spike heal.

Sounds a little like a stupid law here: I can say what I think of a foreign statesman UNLESS he´s visiting the country, then suddenly saying X is a moron is a criminal offence! Well, hospitality is a nice and good thing, but it has its limits!

In all fairness, I can´t imagine being a citizen of Iraq (do we know where this guy if from anyway?) and not feel a certain level of frustration.  Perhaps he felt it was the only thing he could do to express that.

On the other hand (or foot), if the perverbial shoe was on the other foot, and an American had thrown a shoe at an Arab leader, I am sure Arab people would be screaming in the streets for justice.

That is REALLY getting ridiculous, and increasing day after the other

What is it and where are we ?

Are we in some kind of kinder garden with some kids cant do anything better than fight, exchanging insults when they lack the logical base or when they got pissed off ?!

Or we are mature people try to have good time together with some common interest that gathered us in that site ?

We are different,and we should be different too,regarding our upbringing,our believes,or logics..etc

Then what exactly are we doing here now ?

We try to change everyone to be same as we are ?

We try to understand the differences between us ?

We try to learn new thing, maybe in language, maybe in other people tradition, maybe even in life ?

What exactly are we doing here ?!

We cant change each other...we are not same, and we will NOT be same

So why dont just we accept that, and try to learn, see something new ?

Ý dont believe you guys....what are you doing really ?!!!

And then you complain about deleting posts !

Guess what?

People dont come to site to see or read rude comments, but they come to know or learn something new !

People who are irritated by femmeous posts, please do not reply her. Just ignore her posts. It´s just a waste of time to read and comment on her posts. I have done that before. I´m very sad that she´s back. A person that has such hateful comments in her posts cannot have a healthy mind, and healthy people should deal only with healthy people unless you are a doctor. She displays a weak character that gets satisfaction from the hurt she causes or "thinks that she causes" by her insults in a cyber environment. Though, she can fit very well to the Stormfront forum where the weak people from all over the world give masturbation to each other.

As a moderator, I do not have the chance of skipping her messages in every forum.

I am a little shocked that a moderator would come out and be so open about their dislike of a member.  Perhaps this would be better stated in a PM.  I thought mods were supposed to be a little more objective.

Wow, you, too, impressed me. Then, tell us, you come from the space, venus? Have you been raised up by aliens? A zero brainwashed person, a person that has influenced from none of the traditions and customs. I never met him actually in my life, and scientifically, it´s impossible. So, now, don´t see your "truths" as "truth", and no truth gives you the privilege to insult people. When you insult, no one cares about your "truths".

im very unique. theres no one like me and you want to silence me, delete me, erase me.

reading this post of yours i realise that you are a child and have a totally different mentality.

you said you never met such person in your life, first its because of my uniqueness, second, you ve gotta live a life not just exist to meet such outstanding personalities like me.

i know you had to write such post about me in order to show a solidarity with vineyards. it is just a blood call, isnt it?

These are false accusations. Unlike some of us, I have never become a part of a clique here. Everyone liked or hated the things that I wrote for what they are.  I never attempted to form gangs or groups again unlike some of us.

Femme in the past, you had loving and caring people around you. You would act together, write together and react together protecting one another whatever the matter was. What happened to those associations?

Did they realize something wrong in you? You do not heed moderate warnings when you become unreasonably partial, aggressive and abrasive if that is the word. The only way to deal with you is your way.

Normally, we do not ever think about things like camel urine (I have seen maybe two-three camels all my life but to you Turkey is full of camels and we drink camel urine at breakfast) it is you who put such bullshit things in our minds. I can´t help thinking that you do have a psychological problem. Did your father or mother beat you? Were you punished physically in childhood? Ever locked in a cellar? Whatever there is at the root of this, you should really see a psychologist. This will be good for your future life. This way, you will learn to establish lasting and productive relationships.

what i ve noticed that all those who call for peace, politeness and mutual respect are themselves so corrupt, double-faced to the very core of their hearts.

all their well manners, supposed culture and alleged hospitality vanishes away as soon as any criticism shows up on the horyzons. this shows their immatureness and lack of tolerance to any other voice or opinion than their own. thats all what can their mentality can stand up for a real test. im so glad im far away from you otherwise you would spit on me and throw the shoes like barbarians.

so, you, mltm and vineyards exposed all your dark and dirty sides that you always tried to hide.

OK. Nevermind. As a matter of fact, everyone needs someone whom he can hate and detest. This makes you stronger psychologically. Nothing can go so bad in life, after all there is you... Thank God.

People frowning upon these dialogues; have you ever read satire? World famous writers, poets have all tried this genre with only a few of them excelling in it. Take Mark Twain for example, he is mostly remembered for the stories of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn but indeed, he was also a top satirist who would not mind profanity where profanity is justified.

and more thing, you keep entertaining me by such texts about great minds, writers, poets, artists, trying to resemble their greatness (at the same time to show off) which makes me think that you ve got a complex of those people.

i just doubt that you actually understand the satire. most of satirists had to die in times where people had no ability to digest their works. and such people remind me many of you here on tc including you.

Who are you to decide that my time away was not enought for me and bla bla?

You find it quite disturbing, I do not care. And I´m not a mod wannabe.

If my words against such a sick minded person as a mod shockes some people, I can dismiss from being a mod today, and continue saying the same things.

Here is a forum, we are not governing a country. While all these hateful and degradeful comments of this woman do not shock you as a member, and my words against her shock you because I´m a mod, then what a wonderful life, the only thing we have to do in order to write such posts as this woman is to dismiss from being a mod. Then, suddenly, it becomes "freedom of expression".

And you know what, what I do, is what she´s looking for. Isn´t this what she was looking for? Well, let´s think that I gave her a bit, though I´m not going to continue this, cause, you´re right I have much more stuff to do besides this, and answering such comments just helps me to practise 10 finger typing.

Why I am not an atheist. I just don´t believe in any religions. I have my own understanding of the universe. I trust people like Chandrasekhar, Feigenbaum and Einstein more than Mohammad or Jesus when I want to learn how we came into existence. Nevertheless, I don´t mind using established phrases in languages I speak.

For example, in Latin they keep saying Jupiter, if I like this one I could adopt it too. That wouldn´t make me a pagan. Remember Queen and their song full of words like Bismillah, Beelzebub etc?

Do you mean those Kurds opportunistically sided up with the invading US troops, provided them with logistics, pillaging the Arab and Turkmen villages and towns, stealing ownership documents from registry offices and claiming the ownership of the entire Northern Iraq and further claim they are entitled to establishing a government there.

I suggest studying this link carefully to learn about the true dimensions of a plot designed to trust the whole nation of Iraq to the hands of the Kurdish minority which would act as a watchdog:

When i said claiming thier country there i meant Ýraq

Ýt was a sarcasm.

Ý dont talk about the current Ýraq government, the government putting hand in hand with the country who they should work to kick them out...but how come and they are its employees !

Ý meant for people...specially people

Ýraqi´s people are fighting the US,trying to kick them out of Ýraq

But in north Ýraq, things are quite and peacful, and as i remember well, quoting teaship´s words

Ýts almost as part of any Western area there !

So yes,by all means they took advantage and sell their country ´Ãraq´ as i remember...it was their country.

Iraqi journalist who threw shoes gets 3 years

This undated file photo made available Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, by his family AP – This undated file photo made available Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, by his family shows Iraqi journalist Muntadhar …

BAGHDAD – The Iraqi journalist who threw shoes at then-President George W. Bush was convicted Thursday of assaulting a foreign leader and sentenced to three years in prison, lawyers said. He shouted "long live Iraq" when the sentence was read.

The verdict came after a short trial in which Muntadhar al-Zeidi, 30, pleaded not guilty to the charge and said his action was a "natural response to the occupation."

Some of his relatives collapsed after the verdict and had to be helped out of court. Others were forcibly removed by security forces when they became unruly, shouting "Down with Bush" and "Long live Iraq."

Al-Zeidi could have received up to 15 years in prison for hurling his shoes at Bush last December during a joint press conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

But defense lawyers said the judge showed leniency because of al-Zeidi´s age and clean record. Many Iraqis consider al-Zeidi a hero for defiantly expressing his anger at a president who they believe destroyed their country after the 2003 U.S.-led invasion. Thousands across the Muslim world took to the streets to demand his release.

Defense lawyers said they would appeal because they believe the action was a legitimate political protest and did not merit prison time. ....

Are you not guilty of the same thing you/we accuse others of - by making comparisons that are completely irrelevent in order to get a cheap shot in?

I think it just shows how disproportionate and excessive punishment can be relative to the "crime" committed.
