ok, it took me some time, and a lot of thinking before i actually started with my blog. I know i´ll be hearing negative things about it, i´m hoping for postive feedback as well.
Actually, I wanted everyone to know this, because i´m hoping to get your support. I have seen a lot of stories here, and i was wondering if their are people here, or you know of someone, who wouldn´t mind to share their stories, I would greatly appreciate it. I would love to write a blog about your stories. (we can change the names if you´d feel more comfortable that way)
I´d really appreciate it. Please send me a PM. and i hope to talk to you guys personally. I would also be writing my own story as well, just to be fair to everybody... oh anyway, here´s what i came up with so far... feel free to visit http://www.theturkishmaneffect.blogspot.com

Excuse me Justintime, but your blog is a bit sexist..It says such things like "Turkish men effect" or " may have definitely fallen for a Turkish man"..
How do you expect us (men) to contribute there with our great collection of stories ..eh?
Will you change the genders in the stories too?
btw..good luck with it..

oh.... i didn´t mean it to be sexist, actually there is one who is married with a turkish girl, that i want to write a story about. If you want to contribute your own story, it wouldn´t be sexist i think...
no seriously.... i really would love to hear your story.... i´d appreciate it if you´d let me write about it too...

The Janissary, i think you didn´t get it. If you read in my blog, I´m not focusing on the bad side of stories only. Most of the people i will write stories about are couples, who are now happily married. Just because i said it didn´t work out for me, meant i want to write bad stories about turkish men. I do know they are not all the same, that´s why in writing this true stories about people, they will see all sides of the stories... the good AND the bad... I have nothing against turkish men. And i did not want to simply write bad stories about them....
and don´t you worry, i won´t be sad if i hear some good stories... actually most of the stories i´ll be writing are good ones.

ah let me disagree here with you. the majority of turkish men are the same, have the same pattern of thinking, behavour, etc etc. they all react identical way to many situations.
its not only turkish men. such mentality covers the whole east. they are: all middles eatern, greek, spanish, italian, balkan region, caucasian, russian, central asian.
they all are romantic, they show great passion, but it doesnt long last believe me. the feelings are instable, they swing from one to another. its just the culture and mentality.
put some more text in your blog, let us see.

If i were to describe myself in one word, that word would be cautious. or maybe guarded, or restrained. Anyway, you get the point. My entire life, I always thought twice before making any decision, or jumping into action. I guess that´s because of the way I was raised. I grew up in a "slightly" (take note quotation marks... ) conservative Christian family. I studied in a Christian school, and I always got good grades when I was in highschool, (graduated as a valedictorian actually) until I got accepted in a University. That was when all things changed. Ok, so due to recent developments ( I don´t even know if I can call it "development", it´s still all too confusing) about my story at the moment, I didn´t have time to write the next part of my story because I´m really, hmmmm... just really confused. I wish this is something I can share right now, but it´s really reallyyyyyyy hard for me to write about, I´m all emotional and stuff, and plus I don´t want to spoil the story when it hasn´t even really began yet. So let´s just get back to where we left off, and continue from there.

I think I may have made a bad impression about Ibo. (FYI, Ibo isn´t really his name. It isn´t Ibrahim either. Ibo is a nickname his mom and closest friends used to call him. I´m tempted, at times, to write down his real name here, but for his sake, and for the sake of the people involved, I thought it best not to.)
Drama, cutting me up and stuff... yes, it all sounds kinda bad really, but knowing him at the time, he wasn´t that bad at all. I did love him for a reason, but we haven´t reached that part of the story yet. So let´s just pace ourselves before we make any conclusions.
