Happy, like a kid,

Longing, like  soil which is waterless for long time.

Free, like an eagle,

Excited, like a baby bird, which is trying to fly..

HAPPY!  Finally have my power back after 9 days with no electricity or hot water after Hurricane Ike.  Camping in your own house is NO FUN at all.

Mr. Ike appeared to blow our way as well and we don´t even live near an ocean. {#lang_emotions_lol_fast} No electricity for a week, couldn´t even find gas for three days.  Could you hear me Lis talking to you through my can.

I was worried about you, our office in Houston is still out of power.  Did you have any damage to your home?

We had a broken window and some water that came because of it.  Many of my neighbors homes completely flooded and need to be demolished, so I feel very lucky.  I was actually able to find food and gas yesterday.....so all is good for now!  Some parts of Houston will not have electric until October from what I hear...so again, I fell very lucky!
