Sounds scary! Do you have heating without electricity?

We have gas central heating but it needs electricity to work. But we do have gas heating in one room so we won't freeze.

More worrying is that I lose wireless internet connection if the power goes down and I will have to use dial-up instead!

If absolutely necessary I could keep out cenral heating working without mains electricity by connecting the pump and control valves to an inverter and powering that off one of the cars......but I doubt I will need to do that.

Your freezer will stay cold enough to keep your food for at least 12 hours without power - provided you do not open the door!!!
