Quoting CANLI:

No one can do that except you!
İts called believing...and that is something coming from your inner, inside you.
No one can tell you to believe !
Look arround you, look inside you and you will get your answeres .

well i disagree.
suppose sometimes somebody else tells you to believe... and it might happen exactly then that you will listen... if so, wouldn't it be just God's will? melting with our most inner longing (towards him)?

let us not be rigide...

I read a poeam once and it was about what if God would have to bear everything WE believe about him...

(Aside from religion) unfortunately the fact is that if you break a friend's trust or violate them, you can ask for forgiveness (and may even get it) but you can never expect to regain that friendship again. You cannot recapture the past, you can only accept that you did wrong and forgive yourself. Then move on...

but you are a believer...

No, I am not.

Quoting portokal:

believe in God . do believe!

It was on 19th July. I was (and still am) so desperate then. I did wish to be forgiven and asked God to make her forgive me. Obviously either God stands for her or God simply ignored my wish and prayers. All in all, nothing worked.

I repeat again Pagli, even if she forgives you, you are asking too much if you expect her to have the same kind of relationship with you again.

Do you think, aenigma, I could win back her trust and respect again? Is it impossible to win back someone's trust and respect again after losing/breaking them? It is possible? Would someone be able to win back, for example, your trust and respect again? Would someone not be?

And to be honest, that means you dont understand or feel how much you hearted her ,and that would hurt her more !

Pagli - all I will say is this. Just read your posts tonight. Are they about her? Are they about your concern for her feelings, the hurt you caused her? No! They are about you feeling very sorry for yourself. You don't believe you are any of the names you call yourself. You ask for "god" like a quick fix to her being your friend again, that's all. I am sorry if this sounds harsh.

I DON'T believe that once you have lost someone's trust and respect, that you can regain them. You can FORGIVE them, but you can never return your friendship to how it was before. YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT IT!

you are asking too much

It seems so, yes. But I have a hope anf belief that one day I will back her trust and respect again - even if I know by now that I will fail. But that's my only purpose and hope and belief in my life, and I won't lose these. Never!
