Unfortunately the world gets smaller and smaller and more people are travelling - and... shocking as it may seem, hearing about other people´s trips are about as interesting as watching paint dry

Haha! Funny you should say that, I had it pointed out to me by a valued member of this site, that writing essays about our travels was arrogant, dull and uninteresting .......... so I have written my last one  Off to watch my pumpkins grow...........

I have been taken to the police station just once during my 4 trips to Turkey
Well, in the last three years I´ve spend some time at the Turkish customs office (suspected visa fraude), some time in a police holding-room (suspecious behaviour), and a LOT of type talking to the police at road-blocks... I blame my current partner, before I met him the Turkish people never bothered me! He must be hiding something...
