Quoting kai:

Quick quesion for vegetarians: How comes you use the term "If your willing to kill an animal then go ahead and eat it"? afterall we don't actually kill them. There already dead so wouldn't it be a waste for them to be slaughtered and not be eaten in the end?

Perhaps you didn't understand the question. Have a little think

well, dear pigs and piglets!
what was the title of the thread?
if the pig is the only reason for the pooh to be banned then im truly sorry for the turkish stupid tv management boys.
there are lots of filthy animals in this filthy wotld of us, if we remove all of them from our tellies then we'll be left only a few animals to watch! anyway this is only a cartoon!
why does this earth still carry such stupid people on itself?
i believe monkeys would be more intelligent than those in the turkish tv top management or gov! shame on them! because, the pooh is a really good cartoon with excellent values in it for the children!
cheers

Well Femme Fatal - how we have missed your strong opinionated posts! Lucky nobody takes them too seriously. Winnie the Pooh is (please please dont forget) a beautiful book, not just a cartoon. Also, is it lack of intelligence that make the Turkish TV companies refuse to show it, or merely a respect for the beliefs of its population?

PS. There are NO filthy animals, but plenty of filthy people!

The term in the UK for such things is called "Politically Correct" normally a bunch of do-gooders actually doing no good what so ever. I could quote a few things that have been banned in the UK because they are not "politically correct" but I would be here all day! Long live the Gollywog badge from the marmalade jar!

I'm not complaining! Maybe if I was making minimum wage and it was unsafe. But I think I'll take the good ecomony, great jobs and keep my mouth closed for now.
