When people ask me why i like Turkey so much i cannot answer them bcuz i cannot descibe how much i want to be in Turkey and how much i want to learn the language....
My family think im crazy just because i cannot stop singing turkish muzik, but my friends are very supportive and my boyfriend also. Im actually teaching turkish now  .
i don't have flags or coffee cups or anything like that at home (not yet), but all i know is that i always carry the turkish flag in my heart.....
Turkey is the best place ever!!!!!!

Hehe then i am definitely Swedish with my Ikea-bedroom Well actually only a few things are from Ikea.. but still

im 50% mexican and 50% turkish, hehehe.
i eat mexican food, i have mexican friends, and i "have" to speak spanish at home..... but like i said, im turkish on the inside.

Not many people go to Turkey and survive being bitten by the 'bug' Catwoman.
As for me, the minute I step out of the plane (whichever airport I land at) I feel I have come home. It doesn't matter what the weather is like, hot, cold, sunny or raining I just feel like I am where I should be and I feel so happy.

I join the club, Lyndie. I've been there only twice, but i felt exactly the same. When i went to Türkiye wihtout my parents knowledge (of which it is a miracle that i survived without being raped, robbed or even harmed), you'd think i'd feel insecure, scared and lonely.. but I never felt as strong as then. I had my goal, i had my love and i was gonna get it all right, right at the place i felt home. When i flew over Istanbul I could just feel it.. When i got out of the bus that drove me to Izmir.. Ohh need i say more.. I miss it. I miss it very very much.

I have been to Turkey three times, butI'm definitely planning to go there again. Before going there I visited a number of other countries but none of them (but for the UK's rural areas)impressed me so much. All the big things: the architecture, the landscapes as well as the petty ones: men fishing on the Galata bridge, crowds passing passing me by in Istiklal caddesi and the banana nargile smoked with friends made me stand agape unable to utter a single word. Even kokorec couldn't spoil the pleasure of experiencing Turkey. However, I am far from being a Turkophyle. I loved that country enough to start learning the languge, I made wonderful friends there, I put on five kilogrammes devouring irresistable Turkish specialities and I would be more than happy if I had a chance to spend a year or two working there. And, although I'll never put a Turkish flag on my wall, Turkey will always be a special place for me to return to.

Did you try it?? Aferin sana! Maybe I will next time, but it doesn't sound that appealing to me..
Mind you, we have something similar and I never had it here either..
How is it prepared?
