"alıp" is used here as a gerund. one could say "aldıktan sonra". Both have same meaning.

al - mak , al - ıp (aldıktan sonra)

uyu - mak , uyu - yup (uyuduktan sonra)

yat - mak , yat -ıp (yattıktan sonra)
