MORE QUANTUM PHYSICS

A demagogue is not necessarily misleading.

A demagogue is one that speaks in favor of the crowd's own existing beliefs and tendencies to gain the crowd!s political support. He may or may not be misleading.

Am I wrong Sophie, dear?

Yes Alpha mou, you are right. A demagogue is exactly that.

What I mentioned in my post, was the negative meaning that this word had in ancient times.

Now, if you're asking me, I still have a negative opinion about these people. They are always misleading us, using words that we wanna hear and promising things that from the beginning they know that are impossible to happen.
And we, silly crowd, we are following them, hoping for a better future each time.

sorry...sorry..yes you are right..we are all European's !!..I was just talking about ppl of warmer side of Europe and colder side of Europe..I suppose..

Yes, we all are Europeans. Now... between being European and feeling European there is a huge distance. And I m happy that SOME Greeks (I m not generalizing as you see ) are still having troubles covering this distance

If it hadn't been the army our secular republic would have been changed to an İslamic Republic long time ago. The army is following Atatürk's lead who has founded our republic.

Yes, this is exactly what I ve been told. That if the army "wasn't keeping an eye" on each government, things would have been sadly different for Turkia.

Thanks for the information you provided. But my question still remains. Does army have the authority to interfear in simple social problems like the arrest of a criminal or the attribution of justice? Or they are just observing and making their presence perceptible for political reasons only?

Some sick secondary school head teachers have forced their female students to take virginity tests if they had boyfriends. Turkish police also is in cooperation with these sick minded people and they used force to take the the students to the tests.

Recently a girl was killed by her brothers after a family commission of elderly male members decided that she deserved to be killed because having a boyfriend.

This is outrageous!

Yeah I ve heard about the turkish police. So many nasty things. And what surprised me most, was the observation that turkish people are afraid of the police and don't trust this force. I m sure they have very good reasons for that and Erdinc's post comes to prove it.

And I saw that they trust the army instead and they talk with a great honor about it. Actually I don't understand what army is for turkish people. I mean, for us, army is a force in charge for our national safety only. But in Turkia, it seems like army is involved in the simple social matters too. And people trust and depend their safety on them, like we trust and depend it on our policemen.

Ohhh how true :-S I wonder if we are SUPPOSED to be monogamous, if so many people cheat ..?

Well...we have to be optimistic. Even if this sounds silly or romantic - and trust me I m nothing of these two- I still believe that we must be able to build a relationship or marriage, based on pure love, mutual respect and honesty. Inşallah!

Oooooo I forgot to mention passion!
For your partner of course, not for someone else, cause then we would go back to the RULE and the dream would be over

thats a good motivation to dare love against to all difficulties>>>>>http://www.yabancidamat.tv/

This series is on Greek TV for over a year now. And it has been the most popular one for months

Despite my love for Turkia and everything turkish, I have never watched a single episode. I find it so silly that people who were accusing me of my positive feelings for this country, are now watching this thing like maniacs.

They say it's funny though. Even kids at school talk about it, trying to catch up with the episodes they didn't watch.
