Well I have no intention of making a racist remark. To me, being cold blooded means not losing your temper easily and it's a good thing. Dilara understands what I mean. Is your first language English? Are there anybody else who thinks the same as you? If they think the same as you, then I should think twice before using it next time.

It is intresting, in Turkish we say: "soğuk kanlı", it has a feeling like "professional" more than "mean" 
To be soğuk kanlı is better generally

Dear Dilara, you know we latin people thank you a lot for helping us to learn a foreign language which there is not any information in our mother tongue.
To all Turk people, please let her teach us your language. I think turkish's a wonderful language. Please, don't stop her teaching us. Please.

i don't think bod was trying to have a go at you, or to make you angry, or to be insensitive. he was simply pointing out the rules of turkish class.
i think what you are trying to is a good thing. i don't think there are many spanish-turkish/turkish-spanish resources out there. and i have noticed more native spanish speakers coming to tc.
but if you read the rules of tc, number 3 states:-
3. The official language of all forums is English with the following exceptions and details:
• The language ‘Teaching Turkish’ forum is Turkish only.
• ‘Language’ and ‘Turkish Translation’ forums can have Turkish texts according the nature of these boards.
• In all forums in your messages you should include short and easily understandable Turkish words like “merhabaâ€, “hoþçakalâ€, “teþekkürlerâ€, “çok iyi†etc. and some simple sentences like “Çok güzel olmuþ.â€, “Tebrik ederim,â€, etc. .
• For practising and helping practising you may use Turkish in all forums as long as it is for educational purposes.
• When using Turkish, please try to type in Turkish characters if you can. Our double click dictionary doesn’t work if a Turkish or English word isn’t written properly.
• Since many TC members are not native English speakers we don’t expect a perfect use of English Language but please check your messages for spelling mistakes before sending.
english is supposed to be the official language of this website, regardless of whether it is a person's native language or not...i guess this is what bod was trying to point out.
that is the rule. i didn't make up the rules, you didn't make up the rules. i defintely know we have all broken the rules at one stage or another, i know i have. oops!! 
but hey rules are always meant to be broken aren't they? 
and i'm thinking that as this post is still standing, it isn't too much bother.
but maybe we could put it to admin or the powers that be, if there could be a new section or a new grammar page that is spanish-turkish...?

Merhaba!
It is just my opinion but I think that to have a Spanish-Turkish forum would be the best. There is also a lot of Turkish people trying to learn Spanish, it could help them too.
However, I really don´t understand so much stress cause of these posts, I wouldn´t get angry if someone posts Russish-Turkish or something, just I wouldn´t read it (or maybe I would do it just cause of curiosity...!?!).

I think it was an excellent idea to use other languages to explain turkish grammer. Not everyone here have english as their native language. It is easier to understand in your own language than to learn through a second. And of course there are also turkish people trying to learn other languages.
Why can´t we have a section here with other languages just to explain grammer?
