I didn't post this to debate the issue. But to let people know there are programs available that mask your IP address so that you can get restricted content. There are many US websites, that dont allow complete access from overseas. Another option is a program called "My PC" which actually allows you to access the internet through a server in a different country.

So how come MrX manages, he has posted loads of YouTube things lately, last one yesterday!
I can understand in China, many sites are blocked or banned a Communist oppressive country.

It's only just happened recently I heard, and it's because of some debate between Turks and Greeks. I'm not to sure but it said suspended so I don't think it's going to stay like that.
If so I know someone who will be upset

Turkey is the country of strangeness. Someone cracked from Greece uploads a video to insult Ataturk; but it becomes us, Turkish citizens, who are punished. As if it were us who must not watch the video in question! It is thus made that person from Greece achieve his target!
Thanks God, we Turks didn't invent Internet and don't direct it! Otherwise you would often come across the following notice:
"Access to Internet has been suspended in accordance with decision no: blah blah dated blah blah of Istanbul First Criminal Peace Court."

Oh, I see - so because there are videos on youtube that insult Ataturk, Turkish government censored youtube because no Turkish citizen is allowed to see anything that's insulting to Ataturk... makes sense (I think that Turks decided to learn more from China) . Turkey is indeed a country of strangeness... (and apparently so is Greece) :-S.
