I have a question - with all due respect, but why do people have to cancel their accounts once they wish to quit using this site? :-S
I understand that maybe this web site doesn't suit all needs, but I don't think that we are that bad. Certain type of behavior will happen everywhere, and overall I think that we have lots of great people here.

With the same respect - it is obvious: they want to make performance of their leaving!

I completely agree. There are much more nice, friendly, helpful people on this site, worth being in their company, than those who would make us leave.

I am with you, Catwoman.
I think if somebody wants to leave maybe it is better to just go, we have many members who is no longer on TC but did not ask to delete their membership.
What's the point? Sorry for asking though.
Is there a membership fee you want back?
If there is some problem here I think we all have to think and work out how to help administration to resolve that, not to leave, of course if you feel part of the "family".
Anyway...

Vineyards... I'm really not getting this. I agree with almost everything you say, but I'm sorry - if all 'good' people leave, what exactly is that proving or IMproving? That's how insecure people behave, not people who truly want to change some things or cause some action against bad behavior of others. Interestingly, I've never heard of any complaints from you about any specific problems or people here, you just announced it as part of your decision to leave - that is not improving anything.
Of course nobody is taking anything personally here, I just find it incomprehensible... especially from a person as intelligent and seemingly mature as you. Please, don't take this post personally either, it's not about you, but about the way people explain their departures...
