the boys would better answer this. 
it depends I think.
but since sex is still a bit like taboo here, it's not so openly talked. parents don't talk about sex to their children, in schools they don't teach us about this subject. so, sex is seen a bit like a dirty thing.
maybe he isn't talking about sex with you, because he thinks that you would be disturbed and he wants to take it slow and he tries to tell you that he's really serious with you, and it's different to say that you're sexy and to talk about sex.

On these boards you may not talk on what religion tells us on this issue or what some religious people in Turkia think about sex.
People who can not keep religion as a private issue and would like religion to spread on everything are not welcome here.

Does it matter if he is discussing sex with another girl or another boy - or even having sex with someone else???
Surely all that matters is whether you are comfortable with his level of conversation and/or activity! If you are happy with the what your relationship brings you then all is OK - if you are not then you need to consider doing something to change that.......
