"Ya" in questions

Can ya be used to form a question out of a conditional?
For example:
ya bir ya iki
one or two
Can this be changed to a question by adding the interrogative particle like this:
ya doğru ya yanlış mı?
is it wrong or right?
Or does the interrogative particle confine the options like this:
ya bir ya iki mi?
are there one or two (but not zero or three)

It can't be used.
Replace yoksa with "ya"s below. "Yoksa" corresponds to "or" in questions.
Bir mi yoksa iki mi - one or two?
Doğru mu yoksa yanlış mı?
Is it true or is it false? (One-to-one translation.)
Is it true or false?

Doğru means more right than true.
True in English same as hakiki,or gerçek.

No need to modify it again,that is Doğru 
"true" and "false" is usually used with exams,puzzles,word games,...ect,but you wont find it used much in daily languge.
But the closest meaning for it in that case,is same to right or wrong,
Doğru,veya yanlış.
When i talk with Turk,they always use 'true' in a place of 'right',same as they use 'say' in a place of 'tell'
So to make it clearer to you,you can look at it in that way.
İn general speaking right means Doğru and true means gerçek,or hakiki,
But in a place of questioning,then true means Doğru.

So...my husband always says "ahhh aşkim ya..." when he's expressing an emotion...
eg when I try and speak to him in Turkish! ha ha. He always laughs and says "ahhhh aşkim ya..."
Or when I ask him about the army he will sigh and say "Ahhh canim karacigim ya...today was very difficult"
So can you tag "ya" on to express an emotion or feeling? i.e "I'm tired ya" or "I work so hard ya"

"ya" is the most difficult turkish word to explain to foreigners I think. Hundred of uses. It's my favourite daily expression. And they are insistingly always curious about this word
