Sibel (hiç) kitap okumuyor ve ders çalışmıyor.
Sibel doesnt read and study (at all)

"Hiç" can also mean "ever".

Ex: "Hiç Türkiye'ye gittin mi?" - Did you ever go to Turkey?

"Hayır, hiç gitmedim." - No, I never went there.

Quoting crystalgarneth:

You asked that same question on the end of the "Don't post the same thing twice notice from ADMIN. I answered it there as best I could. I don't think the spelling you used is correct.

Back of subject, the use of "hiç"

Can "Yok" be added at the end for more emphasis?

çoçuk hiç yemek yemiyor yok.

Yok can be used instead of Hayır.

-Çocuk nasıl? Hiç yemek yiyor mu?
-Yok, hiç yemiyor.

Böyle de söyleyebilirsin:

Sibel ne kitap okuyor ne de ders çalışıyor.

Sibel neither reads a book, nor studies.
