No-one has mentioned the absolute death defying acrobatics, and the strange man in the egg thing who came out and promptly swallowed a fluorescent tube! all whilst the voting was taking place, certainly the highlight of the night for me! Yes I lead a dull and boring life generally lol

I stayed in also and watched it, Nes also thought that the winner was not the right choice for the winner of the contest. I must congratulate all the easern european countries that got to the final. The U.K. was such an embarrassment and I think that the competition was really a dissapointment after all, the acrobats were very good and I always like the points awarded part of the program. Can someone tell me when they went to The Netherlands for their points total the capital was not displayed as Amsterdam?

I didn't see it, what city was displayed? Den Haag? Hilversum?

I think it was in Almere.. Which is certainly not the capital city of Hollandi but thats where Paul de Leeuws studio for his programme 'Mooi weer de Leeuw' is situated.. and i think the points from Holland were broadcasted from there.

The Serbian singer was clearly a woman and how anyone can fail to recognize her as such I don't know.

Does everyone have to fall into such narrow stereotypes?

I don't think it's particularly helpful to cast aspersions on people's sexuality.

Whether someone is gay or lesbian or otherwise has nothing to do with their ability to sing.

She gave without doubt the best performance of the evening.
She was streets above the others in terms of vocal ability and that is why she won.

It's believed that it is the armenian diaspora that exists in Turkey that has supported Armenia.
