I think it is very rude thing which is said to old people.

On the other hand, only a few young people (which I have never meet by person) use it as "buddy/man". Non of my friends from any type family/envirovement use that word. I only see them on tvs.

I think this is similar to American Hip-hop slangs. Offensive terms and irrelavant words are used for everything thesedays as long as they sound silly and ridiculous.

I just remember now, the word "Haci" or "hacim". Not offensive one, but irrelevant one.

"Naber haci?"

Moruk is a very tricky word in this case of course. Extremely offensive word is used as "Buddy."
