Yes, but normally used for boy/girlfriend/sweetheart/husband/wife etc.

A parent may say yavrum to their child.

if someone called you bebegim, it is a dangeorus sign of interest and endearment...

My soul = Canım

This is another term of endearment, can be used between friends of the same sex as well as between boyfriend/girlfriend.
