Oh how can you compare Stendhal to Wild...?Personally,I prefer Wild...more cynical and wiser. We all know about his preferences,it is not a secret anymore, but don't you think it made him know the women better?
Anyway,I recommend Proust to you if you have plenty of time as Swanns story requires plenty of it lol
As a portokal are you turuncu or yesil?

I do not compare them. I just gave you an alternative to all that agape women have in them
Stendhal was a very fine analyst, still...
As for me, those Wild quotations were just puzzling me.

Portokal derives from romanian portocal, which means orange tree. And goes with a k from hungarian (long story, anyway)
I like this kombination. And all the people correcting me.
As a trapped bird, are you a singing one or a parrot?

How can you go thru life and be so guarded? Of course there is always a chance of being hurt when you fall in love. But I would venture to say this happens everywhere under all kinds of different circumstances.

"Deceiving others. That is what the world calls a romance."
Oscar Wilde

I agree up to a point.. of course you can't go through life guarded and secure as security finished with the moment you were born to this world and a chance of getting hurt when you are in love>happens all the time..but if it is love not infatuation..I simply have an impression that most cases here are about infatuation, enchantment with long lasting side effects...

I agree...infatuation, enchantment...ect...

My opinion about this subject is that same if we talk about it for hours it will not change anything in the mind of these girls...

Very sad... Same if someone tries to tell them that they're abused they will not listen, they will continue their relation until it... collapses...

Let them do what they want!

It is true ilovehim but in Turkey the thing is that this is clear that they're lying... But the rest of the world you can't most of the time find that the person is lying to you until the end of the relation...(This is hidden lies) Soon as you have a doubt on someone you should ask yourself and find the truth but them they have doubts but they stay and do not ask themselves if it can be true because for them IT IS IMPOSSIBLE THAT THEIR MAN CAN DO THAT>>> ONLY THE OTHERS NOT THEIRS. : )

Good luck

I hate to be the spoiler of this thread, but "NEWS FLASH" both women and men both LIE. I know alot of women who also cheat on their men. However, my observation is that men tend to think more with their _ _ c_s and women just want to be loved and taken care of.

Which brings me to a good question, why are Turkish women so faithful and honest? What happens in a marriage when the husband cheats on their wife? Does she leave him, try to work it out or just plain tolerates it due to money, housing etc.

I don't necessarily believe divorce is always the answer. But I would like to get some perspective on how Turkish women put up with the dishonest and cheating men in their country...and also how Turkish men put up with dishonest and cheating women?

Also, how in the world can foreign women believe they met their true love, soul mate at a resort for a week on a holiday.

According to Darwin's theory of evolution it all started in heavens. If a human being originated from an ape or monkey Eva must have cheated on Adam as well
well, you brought a very good question..why?why Turkish women are so patient?so tolerant?..I wonder the same.
