Anyone out there tell me the Turkish words for:
Incense
Spice/Spices
Herb/Herbs

I'd be very grateful. Thanks, sorry for banging on.

Incidentally, the alphabetical list of herbs and spices was so useful i've put on 2 Coeliac message boards for the UK and Bulgaria. VERY useful for us.

Thanks again everyone.

Incense: tütsü
Spices: Baharatlar

Herbs is more difficult. For herbs that heal, use şifalı bitkiler. For herbs that add flavour, Turkish doesnt really make a difference from spices.

For herb, "şifalı bitki" is more common, like MarioninTurkey said. And some people say "ot" for herb. And plurals, "şifalı bitkiler" and "otlar".
