Why would only 300 men from Turkish Special Forces suddenly appear in the middle of nowhere, at 3 AM?

Maybe they watched 300 Spartians on dvd

War sux.... My friend is down there,I'm praying for the porr boys every day/night

violating borders is also a kind of terrorism. some turks are still dreaming the times of the Ottoman Empire. They dream annexation of Northern Iraq. This is called irredentism and this is called chauvinism. please wake up! The Ottoman Empire is over! Now, there is Turkish Republic founded by Ataturk.

if you dream annexing Nothern Iraq then please do not get angry when Armenians demand land from Turkey! Because you do the same thing!

Attacking another country does not make you powerfull in the eyes of foreigners. In fact many foreigners see the attacks by Turkish Army unacceptable.

If you call yourself a state and claim you have borders..you must be able to control your borders.

If not, people appear in the middle of nowhere at 3 am and control them for you. You only hear the news in the morning !

why do not you conquer the whole world and make it Turk so that no body can violate your borders. Only in this way whole world can accept how brave the Turkish army is

....Ha ha ha ha, said the one who wants all men and boys to be trained as killers!!!

Excuse me catwoman, I DO NOT support all men and boys being trained as killers, and I do not appreciate your inaccurate catagorization of my wants.

I do support a mandatory draft as well as mandatory education. It is a very complicated matter. It is one that does not fit this thread.

Alameda, you are for a mandatory draft as you stated. Then tell me what criteria should be used to select who will be the trained killers and who will take a back seat. :-S

7. A truck carrying 300 cellphones overturned?

8. A plane carrying 300 rich single western women in their 40s landed there?

9. 10 Luxury Resorts were opened in Northern Iraq and they went to apply for jobs for when they get out of the army this summer.

10. They were told that the waters of a river in Northern Iraq mysteriously removes the hair from your body.

11. They wanted training from the American soldiers, to become professionals...

Notice how they keep out of harm's way ?...Smart Americans ))))))))))))

I beg to differ. I think many Americans, other troops from many countries, and countless civilians have died senselessly in Iraq. Turkey is just the latest to join the list of mindless war mongering. http://www.antiwar.com/casualties/

And we call those people terrorists.

Your borders were not being harrassed..You violated Iraqi sovereignity on completely false pretenses. Half of your nation now realize yours was an act of terrorism....

But you are unique. You have the face to turn around and accuse other people - who are trying to keep the border intact - as terrorists ?

I hope Iraqis wake up, stop fighting with each other, and take you all to the cleaners, the whole lot of you !

So that's why they crossed the border...to find a cleaner. That's silly, Alpha, they have cleaners in Turkey!

Half of our nation believes it was an act of TERRORISM on our behalf....you may want to revisit this word. There are Americans who believe we should not be in Iraq, but an act of terrorism is extreme.

Instead of being so negative about your neighbor, why don't you send your troops to help them rebuild, instead of coming in and destroying a prospering part of Iraq. You have plenty of soldiers to help rebuild, correct? Then put them to good use....
