Quoting E.T.K.O:

Quoting thehandsom:

but I can confirm as a Turk, the hungry men in Taksim were Turks.

Quoting thehandsom:

You mean genetically?(Well, in recent genetic map of Turkey, it says that there are only 2.5 % are genetically Turk in Anatolia.)

Contradicting yourself even in a same thread shows how flatterer you are.

There is not cotradiction at all..
Everybody in that country is TURK.
This includes lazs, kurds, Turks, lefts, idiots, racists , muslims, christians, atheists etc.
You are the person insisting that they were not Turks in Taksim..
Of course they were.. There was only one semi Turk-semi iranian hungry man between them.

I was just trying to figure out what your base would be about insisting that they were not turks.
I thought may be you meant genetically..
Silly me of course!!

Apologies on the newspaper, yes I was mistaken. I referred back to my original information.

I feel I have to post this alternative portrail of events in Taksim Square as opposed to the original post and the ensuing arguments and battle that commenced and errupted like a volcano.

Thanks for the info. However, I am curious - why do 'ensuing arguments and battles' bother you so much? It is a serious question.

You should know AEnigma, as the resident astrologer, being a Librian I believe in equilibrium, peace and harmony. I believe in being non-judgemental, and non-accusational. I dont believe that arguments solve anything, I can say that I have rarely seen a thread that is a real debate or discussion that does not end up like World War III. Even those that agree, fight! A while ago, a thread that ended up like this one, was locked so what is so different now? And as you so often state, everyone is entitled to their opinion and this is mine. I don't expect you to agree with it.

I just don't understand how libralady's post suggests that the "ensuing arguments and battles" bother her so much... You might want to elaborate canim if you know something we don't.

Perhaps you missed Libralady's post above? She has explained very clearly why they bother her so much

I thought she just said that she disagrees, not that it bothers her so much... but maybe I'm not that good at reading minds.

I complete agree. You are, indeed, extremely bad at reading minds.
