Kokun burnumda tutuyor
veya
Pisirdigin kuru fasulyeler burnumda tutuyor

"....... burnumda tutuyor"is an expression for longing for .......

As it relates to one's sense of smelling, the expression is only applicable for objects of distinctly plesant smell.

"hasret" has no smell....can not be used in this expression..

Correct your ignorant friend...He will love you for it..))))))))

yeah he did actually he should have said that "burnumda tutuyorsun", thats a figurative expression...anyway,no one speaks proper you know,so i dont think he is ignorant. he is just traying to tell her that how much he misses her with his own sentence..

hehe yes,,, infact i had a fight with him yesterday.. because when he's busy he forgets to call me... ne yani.. ! Pess..

alpha well his mom speaks turkish only.. she called me once..and i had a difficult time communicating with her...... but i will be so shy to call her since i dont know how to tell her..

if you tell me how exactly i can tell her it will be nice..
