I can understand her confusion though. Under the current Jewish definition of Jewishness, you are a Jew if your mother was Jewish. It speaks nothing of belief. Under that definition, one could have very little Semitic genes.
It´s not my confusion... I know that rule, since my mother´s mother is Jewish, ergo, I am a Jew. Just like a child is a Muslim if it´s father is a Muslim... I will produce some interesting baby´s A Middle-Eastern conflict wrapped in a little package However, some very pc Americans have enlightened me. I am not a Jew, since I don´t have a Jewish religion. I should call myself either Hebrew, or having Jewish roots. I think that in this debate the issue was religion, therefor I said there is no such thing as a atheist Jew just like there is no Christian Jew. Anyway, it´s all a bunch of blah anyway. I still don´t know anything about this man and his leadership qualities after that article.

BM - I´m just curious - do not answer if you feel it´s too private - if you have a child with a Muslim, are you going to bring them up being Muslim, non-religious or else?

Typical of those who have little regard about their inhabitants or their environment, and now suddenly they will have too............ this make me seeth with anger
So who will pay the clean up costs now it has reached the Danube and is Turkey sitting up and listening as it could end up in the Black Sea?

I will bring it up the way my mother brought me up, open In my family there are different religions. Amongst my cousins (so my generation) there are people who are nothing, strict Christians, radical Atheists and curious Jews. This is because our parents brought us up without any religion in particular, but introduced us to different religions. I will do the same. I will not say "there is a God" or "there is no God"... the child has to decide that for himself/herself. I will however show the child what the world has to offer. Bring it to church, to the mosque, etc. I guess this way of up-bringing could be called non-religious, but it would not be anti-religious either. Perhaps I should call it all-religious

All means none. So you carry on your parents mistake. So your child wont know if there is God or not, just like you. To live a life with no certain and firm belief = existence!
The products of New Age (with no strong moral stands) scare me more than terrorists.

Two panda cubs born at Spain´s Madrid Zoo ..
The twins, both male, weighed just five ounces when born on September 7.
They are the first of their species to be born in Spain since 1982 and only the third litter to be born in Europe
They are the first giant panda twins to be conceived using the artificial insemination method outside of China, and experts consider that their survival is now almost guaranteed.
... and their parents, mother Hua Zui Ba and father Bing Xing.
