I dont know what it is about Turkish girls but they seem to hate British girls in particular.I seem to have come to the conclusion after spending much time in Turkey that they are jealous of english girls taking 'their' men.
I also get the impression that they like to look down on British girls and either laugh or insult often to their faces about their choice of dress etc.For example if me and my friends were to go out in Turkey at night to some bars,a club maybe and there are Turkish girls around they would take great pleasure in pointing and speaking about us as though we werent there.I think is maybe because we would wear a skirt which was just above the knee of a top which showed slight clevage.I do find it very off putting and to an extent i can understand that they don't like us (people like me and my mates) but at the same time there is just no need to be so rude to us.
I remember a time about 2 years ago when i was visiting Turkey and whilst standing on the street in the middle of the day with one of my Turkish male friends a group of Turkish girls walked past and shouting insulting remarks at me whilst laughing amongst themselves. My friend then shouted at them down the street telling them in Turkish that they are jealous and they need to go grow up.
I have had this discussion with lots of my Turkish male friends and they suggest to me that some of turkish girls' characteristics are extreme arogance, jealousy, insincerity, bitchyness and so on.
I have to say i am enclined to agree with the above however i would say its important that this is only my experience of a certain number of girls and this is in no way representative of the whole female population.

I ve been to Turkey many times and not only in big cities. I ve also stayed at Keşan, which is a very small town near the borders, etc. I have never experienced something like that you are describing above, though the way I dress is not so... conservative. My mini skirts and tight jeans never put me in an uncomfortable position there. And Miss C is right. If you take a walk at Istanbul's for example streets, you will see many turkish ladies dressed up in a very 'european' way.
But, I have made an ascairtenment after meeting many turkish women and having friendly relationships with them:
they are very clever, when it comes to men. They never say what it's in their minds. They never disagree with their men, they seem to just obey them. At the same time, although they appear as the victims in their relationships, infact they are the bosses. Everything they do has a reason and a good plan. They do nothing spontaneously. They always get what they want although they always appear as the poor housewifes who have nothing to do but follow their husband's wish. They brainwash their husbands and in the end, those poor guys think that it was all their idea and wish in the first place.
I really don't know if I should congratulate or critisize them for this attitude. It needs intelligence and patience to act this way. And they certainly have both!
**** of course when i say "never" or "always" i mean in the cases that i have been close to. I cant speak for all turkish women. I bet they are not all like that****

I know there are lots of Turkish girls' who wish to be more european yes,Lots of them want to make their hair lighter and wear glue/green contact lenses. That could be something to do with popular culture and its influnce as far as what is seen as desirable.I just get the feeling that they like to make fun of European girls' because they want to be more like them, and they are not, simple really.

I don't understand why they would wanna look like european girls. They have an amazing exotic beauty. I was stunned at Antalya, when I saw hundreds of them at the beach, without make up, without fancy clothes, just with their natural beauty. And who said that light hair or light coloured eyes are what a woman needs to be beautiful? Do you think that a western transparent skinned woman with freckles and a funny red tan looks more attractive than a dark skinned, black haired and black eyed eastern beauty?
I believe that they have the beauty and they have the brains. What they miss is an open mind and some self confidence.

I not agree what u said about Turkish woman want to be more european way..what??they wear green contact lense..come on!!mostly their eyes color are blue or green. I dont think they are insulting european girl, they are mostly friendly and generous,i think just u get insulted from them.Even i am Asian, once i at there, there are so respect,is not what u said laughing and insulted. And 1 more things, i notice that european girls go turkey is not only for holiday..i think they also thirsty for something else which they can get from turkish guys(i not mean all european girls).i dont think Turkish ladies want to copy european or want to be european,(the way their dress,..) they have their own amazing culture and natural beauties.
