The Iraqi government has called for Turkey to withdraw its troops from northern Iraq.
A statement by Nuri al-Maliki's government on Sunday urged Turkey "to withdraw its forces from Iraqi soil as soon possible", describing the military operation as "a threat to Iraqi sovereignty".
"The government of Iraq calls on Turkey to respect its sovereignty and unity and considers that the unilateral operation across the border is a threat to the region," the statement said.
It came after Turkey's military warned Iraqi Kurds not to shelter Kurdish fighters fleeing its offensive.

There are a lot of things Maliki can do towards Iraq's sovereignity. He only talks.
His problem is, he looks out of his window; he sees many soldiers; but he can not really tell which one is the Iraqi uniform...

at the same time turkey promised that the military attack only targets sites rebel Kurds in the north of Iraq therefore , turky must respect Iraq's sovereignity

With regard to the issue of the action Turkia has taken in it's neighbour's country. What would Turkia think/do if the roles were reversed?

I hear Iraq wants a Turkish withdrawal. How about Iraq withdrawing her terrorists from Turkia first?

We are telling Iraqi Government that (1) the Turkish incursion is against the PKK only and (2) Iraqi civilians will not be targeted, unless they take up arms against Turkish Army and (3) This operation will not turn into a permanent occupation.
Iraqi Government damn well knows that it is not possible for Iraq to take care of her own terrorists themselves.
Iraq can trust Turkia and allow this military attack on terrorism or they can trust PKK more and fight with them against the Turkish Army.
Turkia can not care less, one way or the other...Besides, dont take Iraqi Government too seriously. Their demand of Turkish Army withdrawal is a political show for their own public. Messages they send to Turkia are very different.
