It looks like what is happening here is that nationalists (dipped in pure racist souce) can not find a subject by themselves.
They are just sitting there and watching if there is a topic posted about Turkey critical of Turkey..

And when you ask, 'why dont you post it then' as DK did, the answer is 'there is no article about it'..

But I should agree about norrow mindness of racists and nationalists.
Unfortunately it is the TRUTH!!

This is a website. People will come and go.
It is the nature of web.
I cant not see anything wrong about the rules and about the site..
It just seems to be attracting more toilet racists to come out.
Which is a good thing for them really!!

I am not gonna respond fully to your post Janis. If you have any problems with me being an administrator, then you can send your complaints to the other administrators Catwoman and Admin. As far as youre concerned, it is not for you to decide what can and cannot be discussed on this webpage.

If you think people are only here, and should only be here, to learn the language, then what are you doing? According to you they shouldn't read about your ant. And why did you bother to post it? Ohh ofcourse, you wanted them to translate Now I get it But Atatürk? It's not like whatever he said is suitable for the general level of our languagelearners here, is it? So why post it? Because you want to spread the word about Turkey. That's fine. Turkish politics is about Turkey too. But apparantly that's not fine.

this is a language website, u must work for it.

How dare you say that. I think I have contributed much more to the language of this website than you give me credit for.

Quoting janissary:

at first it was a turkish language language but not anymore.

Well, as for me, I have done all the lessons in the practice section. I don't have any questions about language. Although I still make mistakes, I know why I make them and I don't have to ask about them. But, if I find something I don't understand and something my books don't cover, of course I will ask it in the forum. If you have a look at the language section archive you will see that most aspects of grammar were covered. If you think there's something that needs further explanation, it would be really appreciated if you elaborated on it.

Besides, most users have been here for a while. We know each other in a way. How can we discuss the same things over and over again?

you dont get to point canım. coz there is no article about it. most of them are working on ppl in turkey when it comes to turkey everything is bad. everytime we have problems not others. we are "narrow minded". we live in an undevelopt country we can not think as u do. our brain just work for getting food

No, not everything is bad about Turkey. Why would we advertise vacation places to our friends, why would we recommend places to do shopping in? Why would we be here first of all? For most of us Turkey is not the first and only place we have seen. But something about Turkey made us want to return there or even learn the language. Would we want that if we thought everything about Turkey is bad?

As for narrow-minded we don't find all Turks like this. Only some. All Turks I know personally are nothing like the 'shut up and go home' types we've seen here.

but mostly some members who contribute and help with language, left this website and some dont interest to write anymore coz of this situation. u dont wanna see it but ppl go and want to be deleted.

A lot of my friends quit this site and not all of them were here because of the language. Some of my Turkish friends helping with the language quit because they were fed up with strangers asking them by PMs to do translations of seniseviyorum or, they got bored. Those deleted by Admin deserved it and nobody really misses them, at least not those who need help with language.

there are some rules u cant change them, if this is a language website, u must work for it. if some members (as someone said most of the ppl) wanted to discuss politics or other things, admin dont have to accept it. there are millions of webpage for politics. if I convinced most of the members and asked for "porn forum", would u accept it again???

You're wrong. Rules can be changed, it's entirely up to Admin whether it'll happen or not. He created this site and he may close it whenever he wants to. He may introduce all kinds of rules here. If he wanted to make it a "porn forum" it would be his choice as well. Deal with it - you're in his space. Besides, It's not only a language site. If it were, we wouldn't have off-topic, news and many others forums here. We'd have only Language.

His type of language certainly crossed the line. Whether he had a point or not, is up to each member himself to judge, but if I were to judge for you, I think you'd say he had a point

The point he was making was politically correct.
If you dont tell fascists that 'they are fascists', they will never know they are fascists.
will they?

I read it actually. I dont remember the details right now but it was an example of how racisim/nationalism creates its opposite.
And also it is a well known thing to call racists as 'fascists' in political arena.
