herkese selam

i wanted to practice my writing so as a practice piece i have written a LITTLE about myself , can you correct any sentences and tell me if it makes sense . i often have trouble with the order of my words.

Her gün Çok pratik yapmam lazım.

your writing in Turkish is tangible but still you need to practice some crucial units of linguistics aspects of Turkish so that you may have a good command of Turkish. good job! well done!

Your grammar is beyond the expected level that a beginner may attain. It is almost perfect. what you lack is that as far as I obtained from your writing; you use a bad dictionary" üniversitede çalışıyorum: i study at university": it should be "üniversitede okuyorum". and the usage of "ğ" sound. "deil" should be " değil". besides these small but crucial aspects of the language, your Turkish is very good.Keep going....

Quoting insallah:

beni anlabilir mısın.

Seni anlayabilirim cnm merak etme Güzel yazdın!

Since Im not a native, I cannot correct you totally either, but here's my two cents

Quoting insallah:

beni anlabilir mısın.

The potentiality-suffix of Turkish is (y)Ebil. The Y comes after verbstems that end with a vowel, the E can change into an A depending on vocal harmony.

Anla-y-Abil-ir
Söyle-y-Ebil-ir
Gid-ebil-ir
Çık-abil-ir.

Quoting insallah:

sana bisi diyimmi

Actually this is rather correct, but it is sms/msn language, not the correct grammatical form. I think it should be like this:

Sana birşey söyleyeyim mi / anlatayım mı?

Quoting insallah:

-Orada ders aldım (I dont think there is need for the plurality-suffix -lEr.) Or you could say: Orada kursa gittim (I went to course there)
- Sevmek goes with the accusative suffix.
Just like it is not: sen seviyorum, but seni seviyorum. It is also Türkiye'yi çok sevdim (beğendim/seviyorum).

Merhaba Katie, TC'a hoşgeldin Umarım burada Türkçeni geliştirebilirsin, hepimiz birbirimize yardımcı olmaya çalışıyoruz.

Thanks so much i appreciate it sooo much,
i never realised i had to use the filler y with this suffix in this way before (abil, ebil) , so you taught me something new today .

i lived in turkey to work not for a man he he .i did EVS (European voluntary service ) there and we were provided with some language classes as a part of it. i left understanding a bit speaking some but my writing is awfull, because i learnt mainly by hearing . so often i could understand a converstation but speak no answer lol .
i speak so much in uk so i hated it

it must be so nice for you to continue your education of turkey at uni , (hard but nice). since i have returned i have really not improved at all , if anything i have got worse lol.

my learning has missed major steps where sometimes i can make more complicated sentences but then get stuck on what should be very basic . my language teacher was a friend who did it in her spare time and not a professional so she just reversed the way she learnt english for us .. ohhh the fun . i did a lot of travel while i was there but only got as far as izmir otogar , on my return from istanbul .lol

I thought it was just with -im, like ´aþkým, sevgilim, etc´. Sorry. Well, doesn´t matter, does one TALK with a Dudu?

You don´t have to write at the same level as she wrote. Just write your own things. You have to try this in order to learn.
