Sex of a baby crocodile is not genetically determined, but is determined by the temperature at which the egg is incubating, with males produced at around 31.6 degrees celsius, and females produced at slightly lower and higher temperatures.

Bonobo is one of two species making the chimpanzee genus, Pan. Along with the Common Chimpanzee, the Bonobo is the closest relative to Humans. The species is distinguished by relatively long legs, parted hair on their head, a matriarchal culture, and the prominent role of sexual activity in its society. The Bonobo walks upright about 25% of the time during ground locomotion. These characteristics, and its posture, gives the Bonobo a more human-like appearance than that of the Common Chimpanzee. Moreover, the Bonobo has highly individuated facial features, as humans do, so that one individual can look significantly different from another, adapted for visual recognition in social interaction.
Sexual intercourse plays a major role in Bonobo society, being used as a greeting, a means of conflict resolution and post-conflict reconciliation, and as favors traded by the females in exchange for food. With the exception of a pair of Congoese gorillas caught in the act, Bonobos were thought to be the only non-human apes to have been observed engaging in all of the following sexual activities: face-to-face genital sex (most frequently female-female, then male-female and male-male), tongue kissing, and oral sex. In scientific literature, the female-female sex is often referred to as GG rubbing or genital-genital rubbing.
Sexual activity happens within the immediate family as well as outside it, and often involves adults and children, even infants. Bonobos do not form permanent relationships with individual partners. They also do not seem to discriminate in their sexual behavior by gender or age, with the possible exception of sexual intercourse between mothers and their adult sons; some observers believe these pairings are taboo. When Bonobos come upon a new food source or feeding ground, the increased excitement will usually lead to communal sexual activity, presumably decreasing tension and allowing for peaceful feeding.
Bonobo males frequently engage in various forms of male-male genital sex (frot). One form has two males hang from a tree limb face-to-face while "penis fencing". Frot may also occur where two males rub their penises together while in missionary position. A special form of frot called "rump rubbing" occurs to express reconciliation between two males after a conflict, where they stand back-to-back and rub their scrotal sacs together.
Females are somewhat smaller than males but can be considered to have a higher social status. Strong female bonding allows groups of female Bonobos to dominate the community. Aggressive encounters between males and females are rare, and males are tolerant of infants and juveniles. The male's status reflects the status of his mother, and the son-mother bond often stays strong and continues throughout life. While social hierarchies do exist, rank does not play as prominent a role as it does in other primate societies.
Frans de Waal, one of the world's leading primatologists, states that the Bonobo is often capable of altruism, compassion, empathy, kindness, patience and sensitivity.

Contemporary humans, exhibit considerable variability in cranial capacity (1150 cc to 1600 cc), none of which is related to intelligence, because the organization of neural circuitry is more significant than overall cranial capacity in establishing mental capabilities.

... the circle shape of wedding rings represented eternity for the Egyptian. Wearing a wedding ring symbolize the marriage agreement. They placed the wedding ring on the fourth finger of the left hand believing the left hand was directly connected to the heart. The Greeks also believed in this wedding ring tradition thus perpetuating the practice.
However, Elizabethans wore wedding rings on their thumbs. During the Eighteenth century Roman Catholics wore wedding rings on their right hands. Many European women still follow the Roman Catholic wedding ring tradition. The circle shape of the wedding ring represents eternity whether it is worn on the right or left hand.

What language is the hardest and easiest to learn?
There are several criteria:
1.- Strangeness: it depends on what you already know
2.- Grammar difficulties: Polish (it has 7 genders, 3 number, 6 declension cases, and very irregular verbs)
3.- writing system: Japanese (every character can have up to 7 readings, Mandarin instead one character 1 reading)
4.- speaking difficulties: Korean (it has over 7 honorific levels, every one with different verbs endings)
From the point of view of an English speaker, world languages can be separated into three categories, depending on how many hours it would take to study it for minimal proficiency:
Category 1. The “easiest†languages for speakers of English, requiring 600 hours of classwork for minimal proficiency: the Latin and Germanic languages. However, German itself requires a bit more time, 750 hours, because of its complex grammar.
Category 2. Medium, requiring 1100 hours of classwork: Slavic languages, Turkic languages, other Indo-Europeans such as Persian and Hindi, and some non-Indo-Europeans such as Georgian, Hebrew and many African languages. Swahili is ranked easier than the rest, at 900 hours.
Category 3. Difficult, requiring 2200 hours of study: Arabic, Japanese, Korean and the Chinese languages.
However, the most important factor of all is personal motivation. This is up to you. The easiest language to learn is the one that you are most motivated to learn, the one you enjoy speaking, the one with the culture that inspires you and the history that touches you spiritually. It is useless to try to learn a language if you are not interested in the people who speak it, since learning a language involves participating in its behaviors and identifying with its people.

A Turkish friend of mine has a brother who is a med student in China. He´s been there 3 years now and has had to learn the language as well as the med aspect. He wanted to study in Turkey but he went to a certain type of religious school and so his test score was penalised and it wasn´t high enough for him to enter university in Turkey. I met him last year as he was on vacation and he had brought his language tutor with him and she said his language was excellent.
Motivation indeed.
Turkey´s loss I guess.

If you stretch out your arms, the distance from fingertips of one hand to the other is the same as your height.
Also, the distance from your wrist to your inner elbow is the same as your foot.

Did you know why a hotdog is called a hotdog???
In 1987, Frankfurt, Germany celebrated the 500th birthday of the frankfurter, the hot dog sausage. Although, the people of Vienna (Wien), Austria will point out that their wiener sausages are proof of origin for the hot dog. (By the way, ham, being pork meat, is found in hotdogs.) According to Douglas B. Smith in his book "Every wonder why?" the hotdog was given its name by a cartoonist.
A butcher from Frankfurt who owned a dachshund named the long frankfurter sausage a "dachshund sausage," the dachshund being a slim dog with a long body. ("Dachshund" is German for "badger dog." They were originally bred for hunting badgers.) German immigrants introduced the dachshund sausage (and Hamburg meat) to the United States. In 1871, German butcher Charles Feltman opened the first "hotdog" stand in Coney Island in 1871, selling 3,684 dachshund sausages, most wrapped in a milk bread roll, during his first year in business.
In the meantime, frankfurters - and wieners - were sold as hot food by sausage sellers. In 1901, New York Times cartoonist T.A. Dargan noticed that one sausage seller used bread buns to handle the hot sausages after he burnt his fingers and decided to illustrate the incident. He wasn´t sure of the spelling of dachshund and simply called it "hot dog."
ohh these Germans!!

did you know that, first ferries came to Istanbul in 1853?
The Bosphorous Steam Navigation Co or its Turkish name Sirketi Hayriye was established in 1851 and construction of the ferries was given to a Greek banker called Baltaci Manolki.
He had a son living in London and through him, he brought 6 ferries named as
No 1 Rumeli,
No 2 Tarabya,
No 3 Göksu,
No 4 Beylerbeyi,
No 5 Tophane
No 6 Besiktas.
They were all built in Isle of Wight!

did you know that British victory during Battle of Waterloo was the result of some lost leeches?
On the day, Napoleon was suffering an acute attack of haemorrhoids that stopped him riding his horse and ultimately lost the ability the supervise his troops movement..
And two days earlier his doctor had lost the leeches which were used to relieve him from the pain of his piles and overdosed him with laudanum..
He was still under the effects of the drug at that morning and his assult which was planned at 6 am, was delayed till midday..
That is why he was defeated..

Women with a Ph.D. are twice as likely to be turned on by the thought of anonymous sex as women who never got a bachelor’s degree.
Women who went to college are more likely to enjoy oral sex (giving and receiving) than high school dropouts.
Women who have a positive attitude towards sex tend to be less achievement oriented.

A housewife with phd degree and a beard seems perfect
Did you just make this up???

Indeed, it seems the Turks like to forget history .

We´re looking up to the natural growth in Turkey and try to boost our low index. Till we succeed you´ll have to put up with elderly Poles constantly pinning your ears back

I didn`t know that you have a problem of decreasing marginal population. might it be because of your drunk lazy men? but don`t worry, you can always import some Turkish dudus to give a boost to your population.

We do, actually...you might get to know the world without Dobrowskis when you reach puberty Thanks for the advice but we´ve already tried importing Turks. It was no good as Dobrowski women were too dominant and not eager to buy them laptops and mobiles
