Selam arkadaşım. Iyisin umarım, iyiyim tsk. TeşekkÃ¼r ederim iÃ§in mesaj dÃ¼n gece. Senden yeniden haber almak Ã§ok gÃ¼zel. Iş Ã§ok meşgul mu? Bodrum'da hava Ã§ok sicak ama Nottingham'da hava sadece peki!! GÃ¼neş ısığı Ã§ok Ã¶zledim. Ben Temmuz'da Bitez'e benim kızım getiriyorum. Belki ben sonra seni gÃ¶rmek umarım. Kendine iyi bak

Hi my friend. I hope you are well, I am good thanks. Thank you for your message last night. It is lovely to hear from you again. Is work very busy? In Bodrum the weather is very hot but in Nottingham it is only ok. I miss the sunshine. In July I am bringing my daughter to Bitez. Maybe I hope to see you then. Take care of yourself.

Usually the thanks would come at the end.Your message for thankyou.
so-mesajin iÃ§in teşekkur ederim.(don't forget the possessive ending on mesaj)
But nonetheless would be completely understandable as it was.

Thanks mltm. I will try my hardest to sound less foreign! Unfortunately at my age my brain wants to think in English even when writing Turkish!

But it's quite good. Just be careful about the word orders, and do not repeat "ben", "benim". It's already clear from the verb or noun suffixes, it just makes you sound foreign.

thanks for your advice. When I introduce my husband/daughter etc. am I correct in saying bu eşim/bu kızım or would I have to say bu benim eşim etc??
