Because it has been the same here for years! They all end in tears - sometimes after girls have lost money, sent expensive phones, laptops etc. The worst ones believe the whole "marriage" thing and then find they were used for visas.
Don´t they ever wonder why a muslim would want to marry an English girl who his family disproves of? Family is very important in Turkey...
Even if they are just fun relationships, I find it amazing that it can be anything other than lust if you don´t speak the same language!!
