ı ok now illa ska question but i think only arabic speakers will get me so calling all arabic speakers (or anyone who can get what im throwing at Now In turkish when there is a negative question and we wanna answer we either say evet or hayır right??(or am i wrong?) anyway in english there is only yes and no, in turkish there is evet, yok and hayır right? and in arabic theres yes, na´em and bala, so does bala=hayır? the truthis i dont even completely get what bala does,

would it be for ex:You didnt go to the movies?

"bala", i did.

would that be right? and then would it=hayir in turkish?

like for ex:Sen okula gitmiyor musun?

hayır, ben okula gidiyor

am i even right in that?

and in English i cant answer a negative question with another negative right? THIS IS GETTING VERY CONFUSING!!

İn Arabic there is.... Bala  which also means Na´an,and la

Yok doesnt mean no,it means does not exist

Kardeşin var mı ?

Hayır,kardeşim yok.

Evet,kardaşim var.

So here it can be translated as do you have...but its meaning is ´not exist´

No,my brother/sister do not exist

doudi did you mean "bala" is an Egyptian word or do you mean the khaleeji (the gulf) word??? if it´s the khaleeji word then it´s "imbala", not bala.

imbala would mean yes . I think hayir is NO, or am I wrong?? cause I´m new to the turkish language, you are be better than me.

 Yes,i heard it in syrian also,they are close to Türkiye ,maybe thats why.

mI is interrogative,is the Turkish yes/no question tool,like do,is,have,...ect depends on the tense

But over all,its the yes/no question..

To form a question your answer maybe yes or no

ANd it also follow the vowel harmony rules
