Here is one that is very applicable in these days of financial crisis:

Luctor et emergo - I´ll struggle but I´ll survive!

Partly. I really do know all these Latin proverbs - elsewhere I told that my older brother used to say them to me when dish washing when I was a kid, and when I was 12 six months of lessons in Latin were compulsary at my school - but I don´t know always the correct way of writing, that I check in a book.

It was a fair question I guess. I wasn´t showing off, I was just making fun (of you   ) a little. I can´t speak or read Latin, only these proverbs and a few sentences I remember from that school period. Not very useful. I wish I could speak (better) French and Spanish, but .....

Sorry, but you are no more a student. Yourself told a couple of days ago that you gave up on learning turkish. I would never do it to a student who is in the learning process. You are not, so that´s why I found the courage to make this joke.
