 I think ´baby´ was a term of endearment´, and not ´baby and me´.

So it should be:

Þimdi herþey toplandý, bebeðim ve ben yarýn evi taþýmak için hazýrým.

I think so if the subject is "bebeðim ve ben". But if it is "I, with my baby" in English translation, it could be "ben bebeðimle beraber hazýrým" But let´s focus on the original text. As there is no punctuation, that is very fair there can be many different translation attempts. If you realize that is not "my baby" as the little kid, that is a calling: "hey baby!" like "darling" etc. so that translation must be "bebeðim, (there is a coma).... hazýrým"

The whole point of the original request was that ´baby´ was used as a name.

It should have been punctuated ´everything is packed now, baby, and I´m ready to move etc etc´

Like lady in red and DK said earlier, only one person is moving!

By the way, I don´t think that "bebeðim" is a good translation for "baby" in English, because this addressing is just coming from English/American culture directly. That is not how Turks use, mostly.

It´s horrible!!  I think if someone ever called me ´baby´ - even when I was young - I would probably look for the sick bucket!  (Sonunda will understand that one Calip lol)

Interesting looking at this thread. I am certainly not moving me and a baby.......I was refering to baby in the text like ´darling´...something which is fairly common in the English language.

Many thanks for all of the help

X

I think you mean ´comma´    {#lang_emotions_lol}     (coma means something else entirely!)
