In this site, you write your msn adress and password and it shows you who has blocked or who has deleted you from his/her list.

Is this person who is sending me these trying to get virus onto my computer? Sorry for being dumb, but this is someone who I think is a friend, but sounds like isn´t now!!!

I would not jump to conclusions but also not use a web site that asks for you MSN password.

There are virus that generate emails that appear to come from, in this case, your friend, when they had nothing to do with it.

I would like to know how this turns out.

it´s not exactly a virus... it´s more of a spam thing, i think... someone sent me a message similar to this... and you will see who has blocked or deleted you on msn... but in return... they´re gonna use your email ad to send the same spam messages to the email addresses you have in your list... (without your permission)

it did show me who blocked me and deleted me, but i wasn´t aware that i was sending the same spam messages to my email address list.

ok, thanks for this. I have left a message for my friend to call me about this, so hopefully I will find out if intention there are not. I did get last message really late at night. Not sure how this would been sent as they are in army, and I thought that there was no access to computers within army!!!

he probably opened that spam message... and used it... and i think it automatically sends the same message to the people on his address list...

it happened to me... my friends were telling me i sent them a spam message... the same thing, about knowing who blocked you on msn... but i wasn´t sending them mail or anything... i think it´s probably just spam...

Be aware! Giving your msn-address will give you lots of spam BUT if you also give your password you will give access to your account!! Everyone can read your personal post, write messages like they are you! So, never, never give your password!!!

Thanks for all the posts on here. It is only MSN addresses? what about if you put normal e-mail addresses ie Yahoo ones? Hope others will read this and be careful. Is there anyway to stop it if you have gone into links and spam or virus messages start?

Giving your email address to unknown sites ALWAYS has a risk of receiving spam, no matter if it is MSN, Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, your providers mail etc. Checking sites can be done using McAfee Site Advisor - free download, then you type/paste the site address into Google address bar and it gives you advise: green is safe, yellow is be careful and red is high alert. Giving besides your address your password is asking for trouble, it´s like giving someone the code of your debitcard. Further more: NEVER reply to spam messages, it´ll only confirm it is an existing address. Add a good firewall, run a virus scanner at least weekly etc. I get only get 1 or 2 spam a week, I mark them as ´unsafe´ and never hear anything again from the sender. I even don´t open messages from unknown senders and I certainly will NOT forward them because many times it are chain messages.
